On-the-Job Training Opportunities:
If you’re new to healthcare, you’ll receive support to build your knowledge and skills through our Support Worker Development Programme for Nursing Assistants. Upon completion, you’ll have the opportunity to progress to a Band 3 Nursing Assistant role.
For those with experience as a Nursing Assistant, a skills assessment will be conducted to determine your current abilities and identify any knowledge gaps. If needed, you’ll be supported in accessing relevant clinical skills modules to ensure you are ready for a Band 3 role upon completion. Prior learning and experience will also be taken into account.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care to a group of patients.
- Assist with patients’ nutritional management.
- Be willing to undertake additional training to provide high-quality care.
