Join the Northern Territory Government as a Dental Laboratory Technician in Central Australia. This role offers hands-on experience in dental prosthetics. Two vacancies available—apply by 12 February 2025 for this exciting Dental Laboratory Technician opportunity

As a Dental Laboratory Technician with Oral Health Service Central Australia (OHSCA), your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality dental prosthetic services. You will collaborate with dental prosthetists, dentists, dental specialists, and final-year dental students to design and construct removable dental prosthetics for eligible clients in the Central Australian and Barkly Regions.

OHSCA offers a broad range of oral health services, community education programs, and specialized services for clients with chronic diseases and special needs. OHSCA is accredited by the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards and works alongside the Menzies School of Health Research and the Australian Research Centre for Population Oral Health on multi-center research programs.

All OHSCA staff are expected to actively participate in professional development activities, Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) programs, and contribute to fostering a positive workplace culture. Staff must also adhere to defined service quality standards and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) policies to ensure high-quality, safe services and a safe working environment.
