The hourly rate for this role is between $49.28 to $51.51 (depending on experience), plus Superannuation and Salary Packaging up to $15,900 per year.
Your Opportunity:
As an AOD Counsellor Case Manager, you will be responsible for providing a diverse range of services to clients, including assessment, counselling, case management, and support. In addition to your passion and commitment to your work, you’ll bring the following skills and attributes:
- Tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology, human services, occupational therapy, or related health disciplines
- Experience in developing, facilitating, and evaluating therapeutic group programs aimed at preparing clients for AOD residential treatment
- Strong ability to build relationships and rapport while managing a caseload of clients with varying levels of complexity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prioritize and self-manage your workload
- A proactive team player in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
- Experience or knowledge of evidence-based clinical frameworks
- Sound understanding of professional, ethical, and legislative frameworks, including setting and maintaining appropriate boundaries
- A valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and Australian Driver’s Licence are required
